How To Match Hilton Gold or Diamond To H-Hotels HotMiles Gold

First of all, if you’re not already a member of H-Hotels free HotMiles loyalty program, you’ll need to sign up. As a new member, you’ll be granted Silver status, their base rewards tier.

You’ll be sent an email which will include your HotMiles ID number. Alternatively, you can find your HotMiles ID in your account dashboard. Take a note of the ID number since you’ll need that in a moment.

Now, login to your Hilton Honors account and screenshot your Hilton Gold or Diamond status. That’s all you’re going to need to complete the match.

To match your status, you simply email H-Hotels at info@h-hotels.com with your HotMiles ID and evidence of your Hilton Diamond status. You can use the following email template below:

HotMiles Gold Benefits

The H-Hotels HotMiles loyalty program has 3 status levels. Usually, you have to stay a minimum number of nights in the last 12 months to move up a tier. The status levels are Silver (0-9 Nights), Gold (10-19 Nights) and Platinum (20+ Nights).

Since Hilton Gold or Diamond members can status match to Gold Level (the middle tier), you’ll get access to all of the benefits below immediately:

Gold Benefits You Will Get

  • Executive Lounge Access (Gold & Platinum)

  • Room Upgrade - Subject To Availability (Gold & Platinum)

  • Welcome Gift - Hotel-Dependent (Gold & Platinum)

  • 2x HotMiles Points/€1 Spent - (Gold Only)

  • HotMiles Expire After 3 Years (Gold Only)

  • Early Check-In (All Status Levels)

  • Late Check-Out (All Status Levels)

  • 20% Off Direct Bookings (All Status Levels)

Platinum Benefits You Won’t Get

H-Hotels don’t allow you to status match to the highest tier, Platinum. So you won’t get access to the benefits below:

  • Guaranteed Room Upgrade

  • 48 Hour Booking Guarantee

  • 5x HotMiles Points/€1 Spent

  • HotMiles Don’t Expire

  • Platinum Status Lasts At Least 2 Years Regardless of Nights

What Can You Do With HotMiles Points?

Gold members earn 2 HotMiles points/€1 spent. Silver members earn 1 point/€1 and Platinum members earn 5 points/€1.

Unlike other Hotel loyalty programs, to collect HotMiles points, you need to ask at check-out. Points won’t automatically be credited when you make or complete a booking. I’d recommend downloading the H-Hotels app as you’ll be given a QR code which can be scanned.

HotMiles points only have one redemption option and that’s free reward stays. Redemption rates depend on the hotel, dates, choice of room and whether you book a cancellable or non-cancellable stay.

FAQs

Do HotMiles Points Expire?

Yes, HotMiles points do expire but the expiry date is dependent on your status level. As a Gold member, matched from Hilton Diamond, your points will expire on the 31st December on the 3rd year after collection.

Points expire on the 31st of December the year of collection for Silver members. Platinum members points don’t expire as long as the Platinum status doesn’t expire. If it does, points expire depending on the tier you’re moved down to.
